Socialization – Psycho-Phobia

Socialization – Psycho-Phobia

Socialization is a new fork in the road of “Psycho-Phobia” rethinking how we think about mental illness, a Documentary

recent observation have made me think and rethink how much socialization, especially in early childhood, or lack of socialization has played in many of our lives and in the miss-diagnosis and treatment of the diagnoses and un-diagnosed that show up as mental illness, low impulse/stress tolerance, anger and authority issues among many others – food for thought

“Therefore anyone who wants to know the human psyche would be
better advised to abandon exact science, put away his scholar’s
gown, bid farewell to his study, and wander with human heart
through the world. There, in the horrors of prisons, lunatic asylums
and hospitals, in drab suburban pubs, in brothels and gambling-hells,
in the salons of the elegant, the Stock Exchanges, Socialist
meetings, churches and revivalist gatherings and ecstatic sects,
through love and hate, he would reap richer stores of knowledge
than text-books a foot thick would give him, and he would know how
to doctor the sick with real knowledge of the human soul.”
Carl Gustav Jung.

Paranoid by Issa Ibrahim, singer/songwriter, aka IZ from GEwIZ. After the song we continue with brief conversation about the song and his insight into paranoia, after glimpsing himself in the mirror and being paranoid about the person in the mirror “I’m paranoid and I don’t know why? Feels like someone starring at me through my own eye, when i look in the mirror i can’t linger too long… because I’m paranoid… (note: (song starts after about 25sec intentionally left the silence in to give time to pause and think about paranoia the title and what’s to come next)
